As others stick to the hiking trails of the desert Southwest, David Flitner prefers to find his own quiet spot that offers that exact view of the land he’s in search of. Once found, it will become a place of study, of play and of painting, where he can fill his canvas with visions of the landscape before him bathed in dusk’s light. This is his favorite thing to do. When so many artists struggle in their art careers, he knows it all comes down to painting for the love of it and painting for one’s self. He knows he’s lucky; he simply loves to paint. |
